Monsoon (Varsha Ritucharya) the much-awaited season of all times!


Monsoon is almost started with the best showers in the city, almost after long scorching heat, we are blessed with heavy rainfalls, breeze and cool weather to refresh and feel rejuvenated
Not only coolness is reactivated but it brings in the best of mood all time, it helps us to balance the life, refreshes the mood, soothes the charmless and the scent of wet sand spreads everywhere. The best is yet to come when the sky breaks out the thunder and shows the mighty electric waves and we dance aloud.

It’s clearly said that after sunset there’s always a sunrise, so does here happens!
After every shower of rain there comes the humidity, there comes the wetness, and most importantly germs spread everywhere the increased humidity in nature makes the digestive system weak, which causes an increased accumulation of toxins in the body
Ayurveda tells us that our lifestyle, especially the diet should be modified during the seasonal changes to match the change in Doshas during these external variations.

·         Consuming bitter vegetables like bitter gourd, and bitter herbs like neem, turmeric powder and methi seeds help in preventing infections and builds a natural immune system.
·         People suffering from skin infection should especially ignore spicy foods. Spicy foods raise body temperature and stimulate blood circulation and it leads to allergies 
·         herbal teas, especially those with antibacterial properties should be taken at regular intervals. These include ginger, pepper, honey, mint and basil leaves
·         Avoid eating fried items, pre-cut fruits and juices from roadside vendors and stick to high quality and hygiene
